Instructions to Scottie World Show


Scottie World Show 2008

The Swedish Scottish Terrier Club, Skottefederationen, takes great pleasure in inviting you to the Official Breed Specialty in connection with The World Dog Show 2008 in Stockholm.

The show will take place on Thursday July 3, 2008, in the Stockholm area.

The first week of July 2008 will be something extra for all scottie friends.
On Wednesday the 2nd of July the World Terrier Speciality will take place.
Next day its time for our own Scottish Terrier World Speciality and on July the 5th its time for our breed to at the World Dog Show in Stockholm Fair, Älvsjö.

Take the chance and come and meet Scottie friends from all around the world.

E18 from Enköping towards Stockholm: Take the E18 to Stockholm. Turn off at the exit for the road no. 150 towards Kungängen, Tibble, Brunna. Turn left towards Kungsängen and drive straight forward. At the OK-petrol station turn left in the roundabout towards Kungsängen and then follow the road straight forward. Follow the signs!

E4 from Stockholm towards Uppsala: Turn off at Rotebro (COOP-department store), towards Enköping. Take the road Rotebroleden until you come to the E18. Take the E18 to Enköping. after 2,8 km take the Kungsängen exit, turn left then drive over the E18. Follow the road to a T- junction, turn left to Almare Stäket. Follow the signs!

E18 from Stockholm towards Enköping: Take the E18 to Enköping. Turn off at the exit for Kungsängen. Turn left, follow the road until you come to a T-junction, turn left to Almare Stäket. Follow the signs!

N.B! Do not take the exit to Stäket when there is a traffic jam due to the bridge opening which takes place several times each hour.


In connection with World Dog Show and Circuit- Exhibitions SKK offer a caravan site for caravans and camping vans/trailers. Places can be booked and paid for in advance by filling in the form called Booking of Caravan Site places on the web page.
 

The revision of the EU´s Regulation on import of dogs and cats has been delayed. This means that the Swedish extra import requirements will remain as current, also for the participants at the World Dog Show and circuitshows. Participants at the show must therefore act swiftly and initiate the vaccination process at once in order for the dog to be allowed into Sweden to the World Dog Show. Read more

A camping ground/caravan site will be provided  right next to the show ground at Almare Stäket. Reservations will be possible at the SKK web site.
